中国にて24時間のタイ語・中国語の2か国語放送する番組が始まったようです。放送されている番組では、文化、食べ物、そして両国民の話を特集したドキュメンタリー番組などを紹介しており、中国人の「タイ」への興味が増している状況です。
テレビ局の協力協定以外にも、現在タイと中国間で様々な協力体制が築かれています。
例えば「Visa on Arrival」というものがあります。タイへの渡航後現地でビザが発行されるというもので、ビザが厳しい中国人にとってはありがたい制度です。また中国からタイの各地への直行便が増えている関係で旅行客の増加にも拍車がかかっています。
今後中国人の投資マネーが更に入ってくることも予想されますので今後のタイの不動産市況が楽しみですね。

雲南省の映画テレビ業界のイニシアチブの下で、中国通信社（雲南）とタイシルクロードテレビは、2018年5月25日に昆明で協力協定を結んだ。両当事者は、映画・テレビの専門家育成や映画・テレビ業務において協力し、「一帯一路」建設のため、中国－タイ間の文化的関係を促進する映画祭としての役割も果たしている。
Thai Silk Road TVはOriental Times Network Mediaによって設立され、現在、東南アジア初の24時間のバイリンガルテレビ局である。 同局の番組では、文化、食べ物、そして両国民の話を特集したドキュメンタリー番組などを紹介している。

Under Yunnan’s Film and TV Industry initiative China News Agency (Yunan Branch) and the Thai Silk Road Television signed a cooperation agreement in Kunming on the 25th May 2018. Both parties will cooperate in the training of film and TV professionals, film and television works as well as film festivals to promote Sino-Thai cultural relations for the construction of the “Belt and Road Initiative”.
Thai Silk Road TV was founded by Oriental Times Network Media and is currently the first 24 hour bilingual TV station in Southeast Asia. The channel will feature documentaries feature programs featuring culture, food and stories of citizens from both countries.
Yunnan Film and Television Industry Development Association has also expressed interest in exploring possibilities of working with Malaysia, India and Singapore to expand the narrative of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
